Where it all began…

On April 18th we got the opportunity to volunteer at a local elementary school in St. Louis. It was such an amazing experience that opened up our eyes and we left knowing we needed to do something more. After discussing we decided to take on the roll of becoming foster parents. After weeks of training and anxiously waiting for our first call on July 30th (the first day we were officially licensed) we got the call! Our first foster child. We were so excited and nervous, we cried, laughed and quickly prepared to the the sweet guy home. Since then we have loved and lost so many kiddos, each one leaving the biggest impact on our hearts. We would love to be able to take in every single one of those sweet babies that need a loving home but unfortunately its not possible. So we decided we needed to find a way to still give back. Fostering has always been a dream of Graces and making uplifting t-shirts has always been a dreams of Brea’s so we decided to put the two together. Uplift Outfitters has been created to uplift each other and give back to foster care community that needs it so so much!
